He's on pace to shatter the NFL record of 76 sacks, suffered by David Carr in 2002. At some point, probably right now, they are running the risk of ruining his career by continuing to keep him in there.

I say shut down Howell for the rest of the season and see if anything is different for Brissett. I doubt it will be, but you are saving your potential franchise QB from injury and killing his confidence..

I say reshuffle the line, it’s only been 7 games to give up on the season.
