Brunell Returns To Pratice

http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=14135

It looks like Brunell will be ready when Sunday comes which should be good news but sense alot of people like to argue back and forth the real questions should be. Who should get the start Brunell or Ramsey? LOL

Re: Brunell Returns To Pratice

Gotta start Brunell if hes healthy enough to play. He gives us the best chance to win right now. If we are up by 14 or 21 by half and the Philly Offense is struggling I think you sit Brunell and many other players. Lets hope that we have a bunch of players sitting out in the 4th quarter resting up for the playoffs!

Brunell has the experience and has played do-or-die games like the one we play Sunday. It's gonna be a very tough game in Philly, so we need to utilize all the experience we have.

Even Ramsey said you gotta start Brunell if he can go. You go with who brought you to the dance and he's the one who has us in control of our own destiny so he's your starter unless he simply can't do the things he has done this year.

I am comfortable with Ramsey coming off the bench now especially since he was able to be successful last week in an important moment and he got some good snaps this week in practice.

Secure the win, then rest who you can. If Ramsey and other backups can get meaningful playing time, consider it a bonus.

Right on. It's really beautiful to see how mature and professional Ramsey is and it is also rare that he is such good friends with Mark. They are both religious family-oriented guys who care more about the Redskins than themselves. I don't think Patrick will be leaving anytime soon, especially if Gibbs believes that he can do more than Campbell, who is really raw. We can win with either QB, but Ramsey may be more effective than Brunell if Mark can't move around at all.....either way, Patrick is a class act and his comments to the media show his value and committment to our Skins.

Re: Brunell Returns To Pratice

I believe in fairness in competition, and I was very ticked for what I believed was a real screw job that Ramsey recieved in the first game, and for that same reason I believe it is now Brunells season, and if he's 100% he should play, if he isn't then Ramsey should start. I have 2 reasons, 1, if he's not 100% he risks reinjuring himself especially playing on turf [I do believe philli still play's on turf?] 2, If he does reinjure himself and can't go 1st game of the playoffs [if we get in] Ramsey will have lost valuable AND I MEAN VALUABLE playing time that he will need to really get in sink with the offense. Under the circumstances I would like to see Ramsey get some legitamate playing time in this game reagrdless of Brunells health, I believe in preparing for the worse, and hopeing for the best.

I am just glad to see a lot of people on this site coming around to Patrick, and understanding that he's far better as a football player, and all around person than many gave him credit for.
