The Day the Music Died 25 Years Ago

Rest In Peace John Winston Ono-Lennon
November 10, 1940 - December 8, 1980
http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/d...00/2536321.stm

I for was was stunned to my most inner core when John Lennon was assasinated and will never forget the great music, insight and attitude.

"Give Peace a Chance"

"War is Over...if you want it"

"The Beatles are bigger than Jesus"
-John Lennon

I love ya Johnny!
I'll be playing some music loud and proud today.

imagine

What a senseless tragedy - it still shocks me that Mark Chapman tries to get paroled.

This was 2 years & 2 days before I was even born, but his life has still had a profound impact on mine. Thanks John, as always, you will be missed.
