Re: Chargers Questions for Tony McGee
Why is the offense so inconsistent? One week they manage to score a lot of points and the next week they can't score at all. One week they run the ball well and the next week the running game is awful. One week the passing game is sharp and the next week the passing game can't move the chains.
I think that with a new #2 wideout and a good tight-end, the offense could be really special. What do you think? |

Re: Chargers Questions for Tony McGee
What holes in opposing defenses are we not exploiting? I can't believe that teams are able to stack the box with defenders, double-cover Santana Moss, and cover Chris Cooley without leaving holes for our offense to exploit.

Tony,
Many fans here seem to think Gibbs is too conservative in his playcalling. Also, many fans still seem to think that the NFL has changed too much for Gibbs to be successful. What is your take on Coach Gibbs in today's NFL? Do you see any major issues in his playcalling that should be changed? Overall, how would you rate his playcalling this season?

Tony,
Say we can guarantee that the Redskins win out, who are you rooting for when the Giants and Cowboys play each other?

Re: Chargers Questions for Tony McGee
Tony, I think too much blame gets placed on the coaches and not enough on the players. What's the bigger problem right now, the playcalling or the execution?

Tony,
How can problems with our D in the 4th Quarter be corrected?

Tony-
Thanks again for taking our questions. If I continue to drink at this pace, will I forget about the season before I get fired, or shortly thereafter?

Re: Chargers Questions for Tony McGee
Tony, It seems we play up to better teams and down to weaker teams. The same for the level of play. When we are winning we tend to let up and when we are down we tend to play harder. Is this just me or do you see some of the same tendencies over the past 8 or so games. One thing for sure we do not have any boring games.
