Superman Returns
Watch the trailer here
It doesn't show much, but I'm excited about the movie. And yes, that's the voice of the one and only Marlon Brando. Apparently, they've taken some old archived footage to put him in this movie

and as a comic book geek/fan, I loved the shot where u see the curly q lock of hair and that footage of him rising in front of the sun was freakin awesome stuff. I can't wait for it and the 360 game for it looks amazing as well so far 2. I'm more intersted in seeing the x-men 3 trailer with king kong if it happens though. |

Re: Superman Returns
Hey, who's playing Superman? For years, I had heard rumors that Nicolas Cage was going to be the next Superman. I am just glad they are finally coming out with a Superman movie. You knew good and well with all the super hero movies that have been released, it was only a matter of time for Superman to come out. Out of all of them so far, the ones I have been disappointed in were The Incredible Hulk and The Fantastic Four. Although, I think FF will be much improved in the sequel.

as far as Superman, his name is Brandon Routh and he's pretty much an unknown. I think he looks eerily like the late Christopher Reeve as Clark. here's some of his pics superman: http://superherohype.com/cgi-bin/ima...k.jpg&img=&tt= clark: http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&id...586755&intl=us and for anyone interested(and hopefully it's ok to post this), these r really cool and for an awesome cause. I bought a couple of them a couple monthes ago. http://www.wbshop.com/catalog/produc...id=SUPERMANTAG |

Re: Superman Returns
the action and CG were awesome but the plot and dialogue came across like it was written by a highschooler or something. as a comic book geek I'm pretty ticked about a certain plot twist they did and @ times the movie dragged on for what seemed like forever with the prime example that the last 20 or so minutes could have been trimmed down to about 5 or so. I don't feel cheated out of my money but for me it wasn't anything close to reinvigorating the Superman franchise like what Batman Begins did for it's franchise. but the spider-man 3 trailerhttp://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_p.../spider-man_3/ also helped soften the wound to my wallet cuz that movie looks absolutely amazing.
