Back from Tampa
Whats up guys? I just got in late tonight from Tampa Bay, and what a freaking time I had, and I've been so pumped up to come share it with you guys....
So I got there late Sat night, could barley sleep cause I was so pumped for Sunday. So we get up Sunday morning, get some food, drive up to Raymond James around 12, walk up to the stadium and the girl we came with went to get the tickets from the window call. So I'm havin a couple pops with my boys, and I see her coming back with this weird look on her face and shes like "Ok, heres the deal". At this point I'm like WTF is wrong. She's like "Jason, I need help because I dont know how to get into the stadium. So I point out where the ticket booth thing is. She goes "No, I need to know where the media enterance is". At this point i'm like "ok, whatever, I think its over there". Then shes like "Well I just dont know where we go in with these" She whips out f'ing Pregame Feild Passes, as I proceed to shit myself. So I'm like OH HELL YEAH!!!, Lets get in there. So we start walking in there, as I'm having a freaking heart attack, and we get in the feild and start walking around. I see Ramsey, Brunell, Campbell warming up, talking with Aikman. Then I look on the bench and see Sean Taylor, and am like OMG! So I kinda walk over towards the bench, just trying to say whats up or whatever, but he got up and left before I could really say anything (Shucks). So we walk around and my buddy has to go to the bathroom, so we walk in the tunel, and there's Taylor watching the Giants/Vikings game in the corner. We walk in, and kinda just stand in our group waiting for our buddy, kinda eyeing Taylor. So Taylor gets up, comes over and is like "Hey, I'm Sean". At this point you could have shot me dead and I wouldnt have cared. He slapped us all up, talked for about 5 mintues about his foot, da U, he started asking us where we were from and started ripping on the girl we were with (bucs fan). Then he's like I'll let you guys go and slaps us up again and we leave. So I'm freaking stoked. We walked around for another two hours, I said whats up to almost all the other players. Moss and Portis signed my feild pass, and I got a picture w/ former skins RB Larry Brown. Friggin AWSOME! The game itself, was absolutley one of the most incredible things I"ve ever been a part of. Loss aside (and boy did I go off the f'n deep end after this one), it was an amazing game and I had a great time up until the end. Most of the Bucs fans were really cool, although the place f'n EMPTIED after we stopped their second to last scoring threat. I have some picutres up http://community.webshots.com/user/skinsfan026 that chronicle some of my time. Freaking INCREDBILE.

Re: Back from Tampa
That's truly awesome, Gmanc! :headbange
So how did the girl get the field passes? Was it just something nice she did for you guys, or did the office just give them to her like, "oh, and uhhh, here ya go!"? ![]() How was Raymond James Stadium as far as venues go? Looks like a cool place on TV. Spend much time in Ybor City? My sister lived in Tampa for several years, but I never got to go to Ybor City once the whole time she lived there. Anyway, congrats again on what I'm sure was a mind-altering experience! I wish I could've been there as your "guide"! That's just so cool, Jason. :cool-smil

Raymond James is amazing as a stadium. The whole Pirate theme is really, really cool. Its really like disneyland when you walk through parts of it, and I really liked it.

Re: Back from Tampa
Hey guys, just my two-cents on this topic.... Raymond James Staidum IS really cool with the whole Pirate theme and everything. I have not been to a game there but I have been all over it. One of my wife's best friends from our college use to work there for Tony Dungy. She showed us all around one time when we went to Tampa for a visit. When Tony left for Indy, she left to go with him and be an assistant in the Colts organization. Now, if we can only get to Indy to see the Hoosier dome..... One more thing.... and I am not sure how all of this works, but she told us that if the Colts win a Superbowl, (highly likely this year) she will get a ring along with the other coaches. I won't mention names or anything, but she is pictured in the Colts media guide, so they must give out A LOT of rings when you win a Super Bowl. Not just to players and coaches.
