On the bright side good ole Norv is coming to town
Just about all the Skins games this year have come down to the last seconds. This week Mr. Choke himself Norv Turner will be bringing his Oakland Raiders to a nice COLD day a Fedex. Worst case scenario I see for this game is another shoot out. If that happens expect Norv to blow the game in the clutch like he did for us some many times.

Norval Turner, 1994-2000, at every single losing post game conference. Uh, Norv, good football teams do find a way to win. You don't.

Re: On the bright side good ole Norv is coming to town
Yea he is coming with possibly the best WR's in the league. Then we get the Chargers with L.T. and Gates, Rams with Holt and Bruce, and Cards with Fitz and Bolden and more conference games........this season could turn into a disaster.

Re: On the bright side good ole Norv is coming to town
Again, please let me remind you of key factors Taylor and Griffin being out ALONG with the 3 turnovers that gave the Bucs a short field. The defense will be fine this coming week provided we can get Taylor AT THE VERY LEAST back.

Norv will provide a good oppurtunity to rebound or the team. If you saw any of the locker room interviews on Redskins.com, they take this loss very seriously. that is a good thing!

man we had julian peterson on the 49ers! poinaming players on other teams that are good, especially on the fricken cardinals, doesnt mean the season could turn into a disaster... we have the easiest scheduel left in the division dallas has denver, kansas city, and carolina giants have seattle and kansas city eagles have seattle our hardest team outside division is chargers at home...dont give up on the season just yet

Thanks for the vote of confidence! :smashfrea Didn't we play Minnesota last year when they had Randy Moss? As meager as our offense was last year, we won that game. I don't have that much fear in Randy Moss. I actually believe we have the better of the two Moss's. I know that sounds like a homer comment, but I believe Randy Moss will be no factor.

Re: On the bright side good ole Norv is coming to town
Anyone else want to hate???
I don't want to fall apart this season I am jus stating the facts, these teams have good pass attacks and now that this weak spot is exposed you know they are going to attack it. I agree Taylor coming back will help over top and Griffin should help the pass rush. The D did look good against the Eagles but look at McNabb's stats without T.O.and no running game he still had 300 yards. Big C i was naming the players on upcoming teams that could be a problem with our current pass defense issues. Ike Hillard had his first TD of the season last game and Edell Sheperd had the first TD of his career last game, I am willing to bet you never heard of him but you think pro bowl caliber WR's that I named aren't going to cause problems? Reggie Brown had 94 yards and his first career TD against us two weeks ago and we all know he is a stud. The only reason I threw out names is because I am stating the obvious of what we face in the upcoming weeks through the air.

Re: On the bright side good ole Norv is coming to town
mcnabb has been putting up 300 yards games all year long, very similarly to marc bulger, because they throw the ball 50 times a game

Re: On the bright side good ole Norv is coming to town
The Raiders, Chargers, Rams and Cardinals are also in the bottom third in the league on defense. If we can get 35 on Tampa, just think what we could do on these other teams.

Re: On the bright side good ole Norv is coming to town
It's not a problem with our offense putting up the points (wow, I can't believe i just said that...LOL,) the thing is, will those teams put up 35 or more against our defense? I think the Raiders, Rams, and Chargers all have the potiential of putting up big numbers against us. I think the Cardinals game will be a breeze.
I believe two of those four games mentioned will be decided late in the fourth quarter, or will go to overtime.
