If, by some miracle they get the top pick, I don't think they can pass on Okafor. But I've heard that if they don't get the top pick. They'll look to package that pick and a player (maybe Stack) for a veteran big man

i've heard a rumor about them trading their first round pick, possible other picks, and arenas to the 76ers for "the answer" allen iverson. as far as the first pick goes it's either gonna be some guy from highschool or okafor who baring his constant injuries flaring up could be a decent power forward.

I think we need a quality center. I was hoping for Sweetney last year, but instead we got Jarvis Shootseverytimehetouchestheball. I say get Gilbert Arenas outta here, Kwame is finally starting to shine, I think AI would be a bad idea here. AI is a great player, but he needs a strong coach, I don't think Eddie Jordan is that coach.

I'd love to see us get one of the big centers. I think Kwame at PF, Stack at SF, Blake at PG, and Arenas as SG would be a pretty good lineup. I think Arenas and Hughes are tradeable. They have value and I think Dixon is plenty good to play SG or backup. Hughes and Arenas are both good, but I think they have trade value and we could get a really great player for them.

I've heard that more than likely they will let Dixon go in the expansion draft. He's got heart but so what. You need more than that. All the Wizards games I saw (and I'm a season ticket holder so I saw a lot) for the most part Dixon essentially killed the flow of the offense whenever he touched the ball. It was a great marketing ploy to bring him in but an even better strategy would be to put together a winning team.

Arenas is a headcase but he's loaded with talent and is only 21 years old. I wouldn't rush to trade him. The team was most effective with Arenas at PG, Hughes at SG, Hayes at SF, and Kwame at PF. Etan, Blake and Jeffries provide solid depth off the bench what they need is a force down in the low post. I'd like to think its Haywood because you know the old saying, you can't teach 7 feet. But I just don't if Haywood is the answer.

Little anecdote, I was at a Wizards game a couple of years ago and who should sit next to me but Daseal's godfather Steve Spurrier in his first public appearance since being named Skins coach. He got a thunderous ovation when his face appeared on the big screen. Little did we know. I should have figured something was odd when he said he was observiing the offensive and defensive formations the Wizards were setting up and he would then apply that to football. I figured he was just so far ahead of our time I should just accept whatever he said.

Smoot - SPURRIER AWESOME! Did he say something cool? I have a book of Spurrierism's somewhere!

Anyhow, I think Arenas is better at SG, he doesn't take care of the damn ball enough playing the 1 guard, in my opinion.

Spurrier was actually pretty quiet, just enjoying the game and time with his granddaughter

so that was the problem. He based our offense and defense on basketball. Not just basketball, but Wizards basketball....so sad, so sad...
