Passing Yards Stats
Yesterday Brunnel threw for 65 yards and Ramsey threw for 62. When you add this up in defiently reaches 127 total passing yards. Can anyone tell me why in Game Stats we would have net passing yards of 87. This is a 40 yard difference. The int by pierce was returned for 17 yards, so I can not figure out how they come up with this number. I have a ongoing bet with an employee that the Redskins would have more passing yards then the Dolphins. I am ahead of him when you look at NFL Stats for teams by 157 yards. When you add up his players numbers(Ferrote and Rosenfel) and then add up our boys (Brunnel and Ramsey) the difference is 246 yards in our favor ofcourse. Can anyone explain this?

Re: Passing Yards Stats
Sacks count against net passing yards.
Skins QBs were sacked 5 times for 40 yards. Last edited by MTK; 10-31-2005 at 11:49 AM. |
