Eagles at Skins

I think the best thing to do is to put this Giants game out of our minds and start looking ahead to next week.

I think the Skins really match up well with the Eagles. The Eagles don't run, so we should be in good shape!

Re: Eagles at Skins

I don't think the Skins match up well with the Eagles. Coming into this game, we have a fucking gorilla on our back, and nobody will think we can get the job done. Just how i like it. I hope we are the underdog in this one. We have to get our run defense fixed, because we have a long stretch in front of us and we can't play like we did.

I donnnnnnnt know about that. After watching our run defense for four weeks, I'm sure that will not be the case. The Giants didn't run the ball too much either. So let's just hope our starters are healthy enough to play and make big plays. I could see the injury report piling up while watching that damn game.

Re: Eagles at Skins

Let's not kid ourselves, this Eagles game is going to be a very very tough game for us. I can't say we match up well against the Eagles, because just when we think they won't run - they'll keep feeding Westbrook and running the ball down our throats. First of all, the offense is going to have to show up next week. Secondly, we're going to have to get off to a great start against the Eagles and force McNabb and Owens to beat us. Thirdly, the defense is going to have to cut out the stupid arm tackling. And Lastly, turnovers - we must win the turnover battle. You just don't win turning the ball over 3 or 4 times in a game. It doesn't work like that.

you never know, the eagles might just say, hey lets give mcnabb a little rest, and let westbrook run all over the redskins all night.

At least the Eagles cant run the ball. We need to make sure Brian Westbrook dosent suddenly come out of his shell when they play us this week. Honestly, I like the fact that were going home, its a big game, but I'm very excited about it. I think this will be a close game, but its gonna come down to some fundementals and some breaks here or there.

Re: Eagles at Skins

HUGE game.
If our team doesn't play better this week and PHILI doesn't play better they'd still win. Atleast they found a way to score and bring it back from 0-28 to 21-28 before the Broncs put the hammer down. I think you'll see a very different game against the Eagles. If we can move more than 3 downs at a time then we'll beat the Eagles, otherwise it could be another rout come next Monday morning.

Two teams that should be very pissed about their performance this week. It's safe to say the media and fans in both cities is going to be all over their team this week. Good thing both teams were on the road or it would have been a booing contest between Philly and Washington fans. Sunday night will be a test of this team's manhood.

Re: Eagles at Skins

Gotta BRING THE NOISE at this next game!!!

I'm calling on all 12th manners headed to the game. It's gonna be a dogfight! Let's make some noise on every defensive play. Think the intensity will be like a playoff game Sunday night.
