Stats

I don't know if anyone realized this but we'll have the #1 offense in the NFL baring a 700+ yards of offensive explosion on the part of ATL on Monday. We'll also have the 4th ranked defense.

It makes me sick to think that we're 4-2.

Whoa, I wonder if any team has ever made that kind of leap in offense from one season to the next ... thats nuts!

Re: Stat's

where r those in the media saying the game has passed Gibbs by now? they seem to have gone rather quiet and some have even started to make reservations to jump on the skins bandwagon. and I bet a bunch of those slurping the cowpies will jump ship and say the wee-men or the Skins r now the team coming out on top in our division this year.

Re: Stat's

i was just watching nfl primetime and tom jackson and boomer "aren't sure" if this was a good measuring stick of the Skins potential on offense!! WTF!! I don't remember the vaunted Colt offense putting up 450+ in offense along with 50+ points on the same 49er team. I mean of course when it was the 49er's getting stomped by the Eagles, it was the Eagles flexing their muscles, but the skins offense which has consistently moved the ball against every team they've except the cowpies can't be given much praise without some doubt thrown in. I seriously just flat out hate listening to some of the "sport experts" before, during, and after the games. cuz unless it's the team with their favorite player on it, their former team, or the team they watched as a kid, they sometimes just don't seem to care. Surprisingly this year, some of our strongest supports have been rivals like Irvin, Young, and Ditka.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Laveranues Coles.

That leap is because teams finally have to respect the passing game and Clinton and Laddell can do their things.

Thiesman's preseason prediction doesn't seem so crazy now after all...

Re: Stat's

Moose Johnston had some nice things to say about us yesterday. I dont care what the "experts" say anymore. We will not get the respect we deserve until we beat some top teams. We have NY then Philly and TB. We will get respect when we can beat teams like this. I hope they keep us underdogs all year, it gives our boys that little extra motivation to knock the other guys heads off. I remember over the past 7 or so years we may have lost this game, or played down to the opponents level, I give credit to the staff on keeping them hungry throughout the week, and mentally ready to just execute no matter what the competition. GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Stat's

Yesterday was the classic game we would have blown during the Turner years.

Definitely good to see the staff was able to keep the team hungry and they understood how important it was to come out and jump all over the 49ers and never let up.

Re: Stat's

I am going to have to demand apologies from dicks in the media who bagged on the skins. 6 game does not a season make but it at least is enough proof that Gibbs might know a little something about football.
And I now have new found enemies. Tom Jackson and Chris Berman can eat my ass if they think laying 52 on ANYBODY in the NFL doesn't prove something. The niners suck for sure but they hadn't given up points like that all year and they are an NFL team. That does mean something. How anyone can take away anything but positives from that game is completly dumb-founding. I seriously wonder if this team were to win the Superbowl if you'd still hear crap like this. What a crock of S&*T

True. As much as I hate the ever-present bagging on the Skins I guess it does give them a little chip on their shoulders. Maybe it serves a good purpose.
