Official Week 5 Power Rankings Thread
ESPN has the Redskins staying at #11 after the loss to the Broncos. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerranking
Anyone else know how other "experts" and media outlets are ranking the Redskins? If you do, post here. |

Re: Official Week 5 Power Rankings Thread
weird how that victory and giving up 400+ yards in the rain jumped the broncos all the way to #2... I guess we had to lose to get respect. Man, that's odd.

CBS Sportsline #6
"They outplayed Denver in every area except for the scoreboard. This team might be better than we all thought."

Re: Official Week 5 Power Rankings Thread
wow very cool we are getting respect, these power rankings don't tell the truth about how good a team is but they are an indication of league respect and us moving up after a loss is a great indication of us getting respect. NUmber 6 wow, only behind the bucs in the nfc

Re: Official Week 5 Power Rankings Thread
I think #6 is a bit too high and #11 is a bit too low. I'd say #8, putting the Eagles and Bengals ahead of us.

Re: Official Week 5 Power Rankings Thread
Why would you put the Eagles ahead of us? We have a better record, their defense is abysmal, and they have no running game.

Re: Official Week 5 Power Rankings Thread
untill we can "handle the scoreboard", we shouldnt be in the top ten. and the eagles still should be in the top ten be cause they have McNabb, owens and westbrook and are still the defending NFC champs.

Re: Official Week 5 Power Rankings Thread
i love how sportsline moved us up when we lost...that doesnt really make sense.
and now our team is for real after losing a close game, but winning 3 close games in a row makes us a fluke |
