Mike Martz to step down??

Word is on other sites that martz might be stepping down today Really sad i know he is sick but wow. I don't have any links but from concretefield there is a quote from

"Rams have called a 5 p.m. news conference.

Players were done with their usual video study and brief meeting with position coaches. But the players were told to stick around for a special 2 p.m. meeting. That meeting was held, and the players left without saying anything.

Julie Martz (coach's wife) was at Rams Park.

One of Martz's office (not coaching) assistants was seen crying a while ago.

He's probably going to take a medical leave of absence.

Wow...hope Martz recovers fully. I just heard Vitt will be the interim coach. I hope the Rams don't try to take Gregg Williams away from us.

heart problems.......he had a bacterial infection of a heart valve, they said his condition had worsened in something I had read.......

Sucks for Martz totally, wish him the best in becoming healthy, you have to feel for the rams now. Maybe their new offense will run the ball more though.
