Holdman or Barrow?
Who would be a better signing for the team the next 2 seasons or so? I'm not sure if Holdman has expirience or the talent to play the middle lb slot, but I do know Barrow did one heck of a job last year with an under performing d-line in front of him.

I would go with barrow he's a Gibb's type player, and he would be short term and cheap because of his age, the guy has big time instinct's and I think he can still get it done.

I'm torn!
I'm torn! I think our guy Clemons can do it without investing any more on the LB's!

Barrow wouldnt come cheap. thats why they didnt make him an offer, he wanted to much money. Holdman is a younger player that has done well. He could be more than a two year solution for us. He doesnt usuallyplay middle but Williams would take that into accoutn with his schemes

since holdman is gone, I think I'd rather go with the scenario of signing barrow, dump mitchell, and use clifton smith as barrows backup. barrow is an upgrade over mitchell and would be a better teacher to help out smith possibly become our starter next year.

I dont think Barrow would sign a deal to play in that scenerio. He probably wants his last big deal. Get mabye a four year deal and get be a starter. I cant see him being effective for more than two seasons though. If the Skins coudl get a two year deal for him that be great. Not at teh expense of getting dlinemen though.
