Redskins/Broncos Super Bowl

Will be shown on the NFL Network on Friday. I'm not sure exactly what time, however. If someone knows, please post it. It's probably just highlights, but what a way to get us hyped up for this weekend's game! :headbange

Didnt we set some kind of record against them with the worst ass kicking ever in a SB?
I wonder if that still stands?

Man, I have vivid memories of that game. I remember after Denver's first score - it was so quiet in my house. Until Doug started lighting it up, that is!!!! What a win!!!

If you check EBay, you can probably get these games on DVD, although you will need a dvd player that can play dvdrs and rws. I bought super bowl 21 and 25, and the 4 steeler wins for my little brother.

No, the 35 points in the 2nd quarter was a record for most points in a quarter. Come on, a redskins fan should know this.

I remember this game, too. I honestly thought the Broncos were going to win. I think the call were they ruled Doug Williams "Gave himself up" after he twisted his knee changed the game, but I think the skins would have still won, but not by a blow-out.

I remember Denver being heavily favored to win...and when Elway threw a TD bomb on the first play of the game, I thought....man this is going to be another "Raiders" type of Super Bowl!

That's what I thought too!!! After that play you never heard much from Elway the whole game.

After we had scored those 35 points in the second quarter, my dad said, "Denver could still come back!" Even though John Elway was the comeback king, very seldom did teams comeback on the Redskins when they had built such a lead.
