One Eagle Alumni Likes The Skins

Hey Jaws listed the Redskins as one of the teams to watch in 2005......

WASHINGTON REDSKINS

Because of a great defensive scheme and good players, the Redskins showed in 2004 that they can play with any team. The offense needs to catch up and it should if the offensive line improves -- having right tackle Jon Jansen back in the lineup will help -- and if quarterback Patrick Ramsey continues to get better and better.

Defensively, Gregg Williams has a terrific core and some very good players. Watch out for the Redskins. Joe Gibbs made nice strides last year. He may not be around for long. Next season could be his last hurrah.

Very nice of Jaws. However, can I get one link where Gibbs, himself, says he may only be here for 1 more year? Really, where is this coming from? Did I miss something, or is this just speculation. I've heard this several times now, and I'm wondering how anybody can see this happening, as Gibbs said several times he was here for the length of his contract. I guess they are inadvertanly calling Gibbs a damn dirty lier.

I don't want to bad mouth Jaws since everyone seems to like him here, but he is consistently wrong with most of his picks on ESPN. I also think he is a little too emotionally involved with his analysis. I think Theisman is much better, he is much more objective in his analysis and I think has a better understanding of the game. I don't think he's a bad guy or anything, but I respect most of the other ESPNers more than him.

atleast he isn't as bad as Merril Hodge, who from the times I've watched him on ESPN is not only incorrect a lot, but also acts like a dillhole while doing so.

True he also has post concussion syndrome and seems to be moody, and wrong a lot.
