Supposedly out 3 to 4 months. He just can't get a break.

Re: Grossman breaks ankle
Thanks for beating me to the punch, Whenever a coming opponent has an injury, I feel ghoulish posting it here.
Still, hurrah for week one!

Re: Grossman breaks ankle
Haha, yeah this definitely looks good for us. I'm still worried something will happen to us though.

Re: Grossman breaks ankle
I'm pretty sure Hutchinson's next on the depth chart, but I wouldn't be surprised if Orton takes it. He looked real good against the Dolphins.

Re: Grossman breaks ankle
Wow. THat guy is snake-bit. Apparently their rookie backups look good, but that's a tough blow to any team, to lose your starting QB.
ANd the backup has less than a month to prepare for a Greg Williams defense... welcome to the NFL.

Re: Grossman breaks ankle
wow, they're back into last year and the world's crappiest QB merry-go-round (well, cards, 49ers, and fins had similar problems). Moose has made the backups look better, back even if our O gets off to a slow start we should still be able to take them.... SHOULD.

Re: Grossman breaks ankle
Testaverde I'd bet. He's better than what they have. They last thing they need is to play "no game" Hutchinson or "Baby face" Orton. Orton ought to be the backup while Testaverde takes the reigns for 6 or 7 games then work Orton in. Give your team a chance that way. Man this guy and team can't catch a break though.

I to hope that we beat them though and if we do lose it will be because our offense doesn't score more than 6 points and yes if that does happen we will have a horrible season |

Re: Grossman breaks ankle
i wouldn't expect anyone who they signed to learn the offense that quickly. looks like our defense is gonna get a break at the opener.
