I've just never been able to get into those books or movies.

I don't get the whole Harry Potter thing, but for those that do you must be loving life right now.

HAHA! Nice quote. It STILL feels too child-like to me.

Re: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

my wife got me into the movies (She loves the books, but I refuse to read anything besides magazines, some non-fiction, and jimmy buffett/pirates/beach reading material at this point...), and they are really good. if you haven't seen any of the 3, give them a try.

my wife has all 6 books, but has only read the first 3...i told her she'd better have the 4th one finished before the movie comes out in November.

I never knew that J.K. Rowling was a woman. I saw her picture on CNN. Is she really as much of a hottie as the picture says? Or was that just a REALLY good picture?

She's no beast, but it's a very good picture.

Those pictures seem to get better as she sells more books.

Re: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I haven't read any of the books but I keep thinking maybe I should read at least one to see what the hype is all about. I saw the first movie, thought it was decent but I guess I might have enjoyed it more had I read the book

Re: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I read the first five and I'm in the middle of the sixth right now. So far so good. I wouldn't say it's any better than the previous ones but it's definitely just as good. My wife bought the book first thing Saturday morning and finished it by Sunday afternoon. She wasn't thrilled with the ending but I'll have to wait until I finish it to find out why.

Anyone else thinking that Rowling's ex-husband is kicking himself about now??

Finished the new one last night. All I'll say is that I'd be shocked if there was only one more after this one.
