Replay

I see Gibbs let our replay official go, thing's are really looking up.

Although I noticed in the article in the skins news sec. that he was overuled a bunch of times on challenges? Didn't really know who, how, or why, but was curious what happened with that. Regardless there were plenty of replay's that we didn't challenge that were so ridiculously clear he should have been tossed on the spot.

It's nice to see Gibbs not waiting around this season and correcting his mistake.

I believe a very big problem for Gibbs last season was the fact that he was out of the loop for so long he had to make decisions based on advise from others, not knowing who's who anymore, hopefully he's seen enough over the coarse of a year to start gauging talent in all aspects of the game this season.

Re: Replay

This move again shows why Gibbs will get this franchise turned around. He is not going to make the same mistake twice. There is no doubt that bad choices on replay challenges cost us huge last season. At least the cowboys game (time outs lost).

He is not so proud that he does not see when he needs to be more flexable in his system. Look at what we have seen with the offensive changes. Musgrave, Shotgun formation, open up the field with more 4 and 3 wideout sets.

I know we have not seen this on the field yet but I am excited to see it soon.

Re: Replay

If I remember the article correctly, there were several plays that the replay guy wanted to challenge, and Gibbs overruled him. Did anyone else hear that? I mean if you are going to pay the guy to make the call, then go with his call. Now they are going to use a "consensus" with the coaches in the box, and I think that could be really troublesome given the fact that you have a very limited amount of time to challenge a play.

Re: Replay

Yeah - you could kind of see it coming! Hopefully Gibbs has a handle on the replay situation this year! Maybe Gibbs will have a "phone a friend" situation...he can call us! We won't get the call wrong..LOL
