Antonio Pierce
There's an unsubstantiated rumor that the Vikings are about to make an offer for Antonio Pierce, who's an RFA
Has anyone else heard anything about this and what, if any, is the compensation?

I heard that the Cardinals were going to make Pierce an offer. Whatever...
Compensation would be a draft pick in the round that Pierce was originally taken in. If he was an undrafted free agent, then compensation would be that you get to go and find another undrafted free agent...

Pierce was not drafted so we get nothing unless we match and trade.

I have been a supporter of pierce since he arrived, but he doesn't play MLB, which is what we need right now, but I do think william's wouldn't wan't him to leave, I think pierce would be the exact kind of LB that william's like's he can cover he's fast and he has a nose for the ball, I think if he stay's on we will see a lot of him this year.

Antonio has made his share of mistakes, but most of them were because he was super fired up at the time. We need more players like him. I sure hope we don't lose him.

We certainly won't let Pierce go for nothing (see B. Johnson). I think he could be a starter at some point and we should keep him.
