Iggles pre game thread
Quick turnaround here. Birds had to travel back from Texas though.
I hope we come out fired up because we let one get away from us. If we lose it is not the end of the world at all though. Will seem like it because we lose twice in 5 days however I fully expect to split with them and this is in their house. Winning this game would be 100 percent gravy. Losing means 7-4 with mostly home games left. Edit: bukakke boy better not be returning punts!!! Prediction: Us - 27 Them- 21 |

Re: Iggles pre game thread
I’ve already said we will lose. There’s a good chance Marshon doesn’t play. Probably want him to heal up for the stretch run. We might just let all our questionable players sit out another week.
I think Barkley and their receivers will give our defense fits. Eagles 34 Commanders 27 We will keep it close though and get our revenge when they visit us. |

Can’t go 0-2 to Pennsylvania.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
If Lattimore plays we win easily. If he doesn't it goes deep into the 4th and needs hero play to win.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
This will be a tough game to win especially after a tough loss. I do think we can go in there and do it. Need to catch the ball. Huge reason for a loss yesterday. You can't have drops against good teams. Minimize penalties also.
Pittsburgh's defense was really, really good and we still moved the ball. Hoping to get B-Rob and Lattimore back asap. |

Certainly, injury concerns. Hope everyone is healthy for the rest of our division games.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
Stopping AJ Brown and Devonta Smith is very tough. Brown destroyed us last year in Philly. Getting Lattimore back would help a TON for this game. Not optimistic but will keep my fingers crossed. Brown and Barkley are bigtime playmakers.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
I think this might get ugly. The list of injuries is long. Barkley is in great form.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
I agree coaching is likely the difference. Sirianni is probably going to do something cocky like a trick play, fake punt etc. Quinn needs to be ready to blow it up in his face. We got lucky on that fake punt Sunday, need to be 100% ready next time someone pulls that shit on us.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
As much as we need BRob and Lattimore, if they are still not 100% then I think they should sit this out. We will need them for the rest of the season to ensure we get into playoffs.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
I am still having nightmares about how bad Brown torched us in Philly last year. Pretty much embarassed our secondary. I want Lattimore back asap. This is a big game. Yes, we can lose and go to the playoffs. If we win, team confidence soars and we are in the driver's seat.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
I dont see us winning this game. Our defensive secondary, particularly CB is not much better than last year when we got slaughtered. However, not sure the end result will be as embarrassing. The truth is, the eagles have better players across the board. They are a better team. Remember preseason win estimates? There is a reason for that. We are still overperforming, Philly is not. Of course any given
Sunday. And now they have Barkley too, sheesh. They are a Superbowl contender, we are hoping to have a winning record, and now a playoff birth. We are WAY ahead of schedule win or lose. Frankly, I just want to beat Dallas. That is my true joy!

Re: Iggles pre game thread
I dont think it makes sense to play brob or lattimore on 4 days with a 10 day break with nagging injuries that could last the rest if the season. We just have to do the best we can. I am also worried about our pushing our OT injuries. I say, do so crazy crap with our backups and see if we can pull off a short week, short handed upset. I actually think the eagles should be favored by 10 in our current scenario
