Commanders Training Camp 2024
Camp recently started and some observations noted below:
1) Jayden Daniels looking sharp so far. Love the work ethic and seemingly lack of entitlement, not needing to be named the starter yet. 2) Jordan Magee looking strong. He's mentioned in nearly every defensive write up. Kid likely starts. Davis probably used situationally to rush passer or cut. 3) Forbes has put some weight on. Probably needs to put more on, but this is a step in the right direction. Cannot ignore his ability to be a ballhawk, but rookie season was rough. Huge year for him and many others. Wanting to see this team with at least a winning record this year as a minimum goal. HTTC! |

Re: Commanders Training Camp 2024
I grow increasingly optimistic with each report out of camp. It's early but this is all the info we have to date and Jayden appears to be looking great. I am getting excited at the reports on players like Magee, I totally expect this group to find gems in the middle rounds and this could be one of them. Johnny Newton's rapid return was a great surprise now I feel he will have an impact where as before I was concerned he would miss camp and kind of lose his rookie season.

Re: Commanders Training Camp 2024
The way Finlay/co are talking Jamin Davis might not even make the roster, apparently he hasn't been looking great as a pass rusher. Sucks but if the staff feels like they can't save him it's best for us to move on.

Re: Commanders Training Camp 2024
That's unfortunate, I was kinda hoping the plan was to showcase him in pre-season and hope some team might bite and we'd get something for him.

Re: Commanders Training Camp 2024
We're going to be a good team in the near future. I'm just more and more pumped for Jayden Daniels. He is checking every box you can have checked at this point. Let's fucking go baby!!

Re: Commanders Training Camp 2024
Yes agree, especially if the oline comes through. I think people are forgetting that McLaurin, Dotson, and LMC all are pretty fast. Brown can be a deep threat also. Daniel's deep ball is bigtime. Just needs pass protection.

I'm hearing Brandon Colemen is doing a pretty good so far at LT. It would be a massive win to hit on a starting LT in the third round. We shall see.
