Cole Holcomb
He once was a liability in coverage.....but not anymore.....he has improved a ton in coverage.....he has a number of pass defenses and 1 interception so far this season.

Re: Cole Holcomb
He has improved a great deal but I also think that much of his early season struggles, as for the defense as a whole, were down to trying/having to cover multiple areas due to certain other players inability to cover at all. I think you know of whom I speak. With the changes made before the bye week the whole group have gotten better.

Cole Holcomb
Cole Holcomb has really good football instincts, plays with a ton of heart. Good story as a fifth rounder, But imo he isn’t physically gifted enough to be dominant at his position. I still think that is an area of need.

Re: Cole Holcomb
Big time. Last year was a deep draft for LBs too. They should have picked an other one after Jamin.

Re: Cole Holcomb
He’s come along nicely…never really considered an issue at LB, not like Jon Bostic

Re: Cole Holcomb
Maybe winning the division was a mistake last year? We could have drafted Parsons...

Re: Cole Holcomb
This D turn around doesnt happen without him.
Ideally best case scenario hed be first man up for the LB corp if a starter goes down ... but weve had trouble figuring out the LB role (foster, t. davis, bostic, j. davis) and his steady eddy contributions shouldnt be discounted. Ive become a Holcomb appreciator. id love a Marcus Washington right now. Hopefully Jamin can become that. |

Re: Cole Holcomb
I think Holcomb is starting caliber. But if he is your best linebacker, your unit is lacking. Hopefully by next year Davis is the alpha dog of the unit.

Re: Cole Holcomb
Exactly Cole should be a prime backup and contribute in certain schemes but we need an upgrade to dominate.

Re: Cole Holcomb
My favorite part was him running thru that weak ass Dak arm tackle….left Dak flailing like a fish on the ground

Cole Holcomb
If Cole had the same level of physical traits that he had instincts he would be a sure shot hall of famer.
Can totally see him being a coach when he is done playing. Last edited by punch it in; 12-14-2021 at 05:19 PM. |
