The Haskins Thread
I hate to open 2 threads in one day, but I didn't really see any place this would fit better:
https://redskinswire.usatoday.com/20...t-in-practice/ I think the beginning of the article is way over exaggerated, but if the like the positive info from Callahan. He got all reps today with 1st team, as Case had a veteran's day off. Didn't know QBs got those. That seems weird.

Re: The Haskins Thread
Son of a bitch. I put Threat in the name of the thread initially. I edited afterwards to put Thread, and it shows up as Thread on my post inside of the thread, but the actual subject name on the homepage stayed as Threat. My bad!! Please edit MTK if possible.

Re: The Haskins Threat
It’s a big positive that Callahan seems committed to giving Haskins reps...this is an improvement over Jay. I have a feeling after the bye Haskins starts the rest of season

Re: The Haskins Threat
It's most likely a directive from the front office. Which is smart, in a lost season you have to find out what you have in the kid. We need to know whether QB is a problem we need to try to solve this offseason, or if we can move forward with Haskins.

Re: The Haskins Threat
When I saw threat, considering all the rumors calling him entitled, not wanting to work hard, etc, etc, I figured he was demanding a trade if he wasn't named starter for the rest of the season. I think you just made click bait.

Re: The Haskins Threat
Yup, it’s probably the most pressing goal for the rest of the season, finding out if Haskins has the talent we hoped.

Re: The Haskins Threat
I don't understand this narrative , the kid is always staying after practice working on footwork and throwing. He needs to mature yes but he's 22 lol he's still a kid

Re: The Haskins Threat
I just hope they have worked on him protecting himself better before he is put back out on the field. Considering the O-line and our recent history with QB injuries that is a concern of mine. No reason to take an unnecessary hit when running on 3rd and long to get an extra 2 yards when it won't net a first down anyway. Just something I mostly saw in preseason games.

As an example of bias, I don't remember the writer, just that they were on the ESPN website. They were all over how bad it was for the Redskins to get Ha Ha Clinton Dix, then when the Bears picked him up they were praised for a great acquisition. Some of those guys just bad mouth the Redskins 24-7. |

Re: The Haskins Threat
None of the local beat guys have anything negative to say about him. If you're talking about Lombardi's rant he's always had an axe to grind against the team, specifically Bruce Allen.

Not long ago Craig Hoffman had a rant about this on Twitter, talking about national reporters he never sees at Redskins park exaggerating a lot of the stuff they report. It's like there is plenty dysfunction to report without needing to exaggerate things. But people do it anyway. Oh well, that's why I trust the local beat guys more than anything on the national level.

Re: The Haskins Threat
To be honest so was rg3. I don’t care about any of this. I only care about performing on the field.
