@Chargers postgame
I expected a loss but not that ugly. And not that way, even our supposed areas of strength sucked last night... urrrghhhh ...
Positives: -Zach Vigil definitely is a nice surprise -We generated more pressure than I expected against a really solid OL (least sacked team in the NFL, only 13 sacks allowed before this week, we got 2 in the first half) -I thought our own OL hold up pretty good in pass protect (considering how banged up it is) until pretty late in the game -Crowder seems to finally have found his hands back. Tough catch in the first half, and no drops. -Also a nice tough catch by Niles Paul in the first half (I'm digging for positives...) Negatives -Poor effort overall -Very disappointed by our secondary. Even Norman has not been himself lately... -We can't stop the run even against a poor rushing team -We can't run the ball even against a poor rush defense -We're officially out of the PO race. Season's over. Onto next year. Let see if Gruden can fight for his job. I hope he does. Finally, I don't know what to think of Kirk's performance. He definitely improved his pocket mobility and ability to extend the play. Made some tough throws. But also had some poor decisions and could have had more than one pick... And he kinda faded away as the game went on. *Sigh*... let the "burn it down" parade begin...

Re: @Chargers postgame
I knew we were gonna lose, but I agree the lack of effort is not acceptable.

Re: @Chargers postgame
First game of the year that I felt we were totally out played and didn't have the chance. You just have to wonder if all the injuries are not having an affect on the entire team. I'm sure our rotations are affected a lot and it now starting to really wear down our players. Not trying to make an excuse but just trying to under stand our poor play yesterday. I also think the injuries are one of the reason we are getting worn down by the 4th quarter. It could be our conditioning coach which is Grudens nephew.

Re: @Chargers postgame
I wasn’t surprised, the Chargers have been playing like a team on a mission, meanwhile we’re battered and outgunned.

Re: @Chargers postgame
I like the Chargers. Favorite AFC team. Hopefully our lack of any effort whatsoever can go towards them getting into the playoffs.

Re: @Chargers postgame
Chargers 2nd to last Run Defense and we couldn't run the ball. If we cant run the ball we don't win.
This offseason we need to get a running back and a new LG. 1st or 2nd pick type running back, not this second tier shit.

Re: @Chargers postgame
Perine is a good number 2, if you have a flashy back as your 1.

Re: @Chargers postgame
Waiting on us to win the one random game that will drop us back like four slots in the draft.

Re: @Chargers postgame
I haven't seen this lack of effort since the last few games of the Shanahan regime. We all know what happened after that. I actually paid more attention to the Eagles-Rams game as that was a very good game with a lot riding on it. However, I would periodically switch back to the 'skins game, and question to myself why I did so!
Dan Snyder needs to just clean house and start over. I don't feel overly confident in Doug Williams being the next great GM, but who knows? Maybe he's (again) what this team needs to win a Super Bowl? I'm kind of at the feeling now that regardless, we'll probably lose Kirk Cousins. Guess we need to just brace ourselves for yet another "tear it all down and rebuild it once again" deal.
