Is RG3's Career Over?
Who woulda thought? I know RG3 threads are exhausting, but to me this is kind of a shocker. Just got married again, another baby on the way...doesn't seem concerned about football.
What a fall. People talk about Kap because of his bs politics, but both these guys are tremendous athletes who career peaked because of the gimmick Read/Option offense. Anybody think he is in camp coming up? Or you think its over?

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
It's over.
I wrote that while shrugging because I don't care. Enough with RG3 threads.

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
He's probably done but he may get a look in camp as a backup somewhere if there's an injury. His starting days are definitely over with.

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
Seattle says they are possibly adding him or kap as a backup (read this earlier today) . . . not definitely for either of them though

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
Imagine being a back up for the team that, well, both your peak was reached and fall of career occured in the same game against.... At this point who knows what will happen to him.

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
doug flutie owns a lot of the qb records in canada, and the cfl signed vince yoing to play up there.if vince you can go up there and play,rg3 can be a superstar up there if he tries.look what the cfl has done for brandon banks.

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
I think someone brings him in for a workout at some point this season, but i'd be surprised if he was signed. Kap will get signed before RG3...

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
It is over. And no matter how many workouts he is on. Running too much in his rookie year, really hurt him. And affect his throwing.

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
He had to run to succeed, because ultimately he couldn't process pro offenses fast enough. I don't know if it was inability to see the field well or quickly enough, or whether he just wasn't smart enough to go through progressions and throw with anticipation. But ultimately he had to run because he couldn't do it from the pocket. Brilliant athlete, limited football IQ.

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
It's over as a starter. But I'm actually surprised that Kyle didn't reach out to Griffin and bring him in. They have Hoyer and Matt Barkley?? IDK if Griffin is better than Hoyer but he's better than Barkley. I'm thinking that the reason he's not on a team is two reasons... One, he still hasn't learned how to protect himself. Two, he's still an egomaniac.

The Canadian football league might not even want him.

Re: Is RG3's Career Over?
This makes sense for both of these qb because of the offense they run. Probably best case scenario. I wouldn't mind seeing rg3 in Seattle
