A curse broken!!!

For those of you that think we cant win in prime time>>>>
Holy crap, what a great win!!!!

Help me remember the game we totally blew it on Monday night long ago when the Packers punctured our lungs.
That has resonated with me for a long time....
Tonights win seemed like an equal restitution for that.
We farging rocked!
HTTR!

Re: A curse broken!!!

I don't think it's a matter of thinking we can't win on prime time, it's just we normally have played like pure shit the past 5-7 years on prime time.

Are you talking about the MNF game when Joe T was still qb and we lost by a point? Yeah that sucked.I wouldnt say this is payback for that but still a great win.If my memory serves I think we lost 2 games that yr and lost both of them by a point, the fk ing cowboys being the other game, but I'm old and my memories could be wrong

So proud of my boys, let's go to Dallas and take care of business, beat them pokes.

Re: A curse broken!!!

I feel that the 24 year drought is coming to an end and my loyalty to this team through the pain and suffering whether they win or lose will be rewarded soon. I love this team like a family member. HTTR!!!

I agree with you, SFRedskin. It would be nice to see The Redskins make consecutive playoff appearances for the first time in two decades.

Re: A curse broken!!!

Prime time win. Let's make a habit of this. Another chance this week! Payback for Dallas stealing their first win of the season from us.

That was a real track meet. I think the Packers won that game 48-47 or something like that. It was a big upset because we had a great team that season.

BTW, years later I met Karl Schwanke who played LT for the Packers in that game and he told me that game was the most fun he ever had playing NFL football.

Several so called "curses" have been broken over the last 2 seasons.

Re: A curse broken!!!

This might be the breaking of the Theismann leg break curse. We haven't had a franchise QB since him. We do now.

He didn't stay long enough to be considered such. Didn't have staying power as a starter in the NFL. He wasn't a franchise QB.

Re: A curse broken!!!

Kirk was just ridiculous last night. Even packer players said that guy is a beast.
