Predict RGIII's next team
I'm guessing the Chiefs. Low key media market, Reid is a QB guru, no pressure to start. What's your guess?

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
Chiefs same reason above...Reid was a big fan of RG3 during that draft year. Close to home and Smith is in the last year of his contract and he aint takin them to the promise land. RG3 would give the offense a shot in the arm after learning the system for a year.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
I think him and the Chiefs would be a great fit, but he will end up in Cleveland. With the Chiefs he'd backup Alex Smith and at best fight for the starting job, but with Cleveland he'd probably be on the fast track to start next year, provided he does solid in camp. Plus I'm sure Hue Jackson will taylor his offense to help.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
I'd say the Chiefs would be a safe bet but would he go there to compete for an immediate start?
Is that the only way he'll go anywhere? I'll say Cleveland. That would get the Browns out of their QB drafting funk and allow them to use their #1 pick for a trench guy.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
From ESPN:
The only decision left regarding the QB is whether the team uses a franchise or transition tag on him, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Meanwhile, at least two teams have asked about trading for QB Robert Griffin III, league sources told Schefter. Griffin would have to agree to a new deal, so he will have a big say in whether and where he is traded.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
I'd love for a trade to happen, but maybe RG3 is so bitter towards us he would prefer a release so we don't get any compensation. RG3 doesn't have a choice in his contract, he will either renegotiate his current contract to be traded or he will have to sign a very team friendly contract for his next deal. I expect several teams to be interested in him but I don't think there will be a bidding war considered how bad he's looked.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
I'd say the Browns, Chiefs and 49ers are all areas he could go to.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
the best place for him to go long term is the chiefs. andy reid is the most likely person to get him back on track.
49ers or browns might give him a shot to start, but those aren't stable franchises right now, and he'll probably end up looking bad in either spot. |

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
I want to say the 49ers, since the news broke about Kaep's agents wanting a trade. Now, not saying Kaep is heading to the Redskins, but RGIII could be ideal for Chip Kelly.
