Josh Gordon applies for reinstatment

What do you think, would he be worth a late round pick and a shot.

Cleveland still owns his rights but I would expect him to be available for a later round pick as they are rebuilding and don't want the headache.

We really need a big true number 1 and he was a beast when playing. I think we have a strong locker room now that can keep people like him in check and make him perform.

Is he weed free? He'll be hanging out w/ Johnny Douche in the unemployment line.

Double pass. Didn't he get into a bunch of trouble while he was suspended? Even now I think his best odds of getting reinstated are 50/50.

Cowboys will hop on that real quick and get a couple of great seasons out of him because they just don't give two fucks about character.

I am one of the few middle aged white men that don't look at pot smokers as low lifes. (For the record I only tried it once in college) I heard he stayed out of trouble while suspended, worth a look if you can get him at the "damaged goods" price.

It has nothing to do with weed...just intelligence.

Re: Josh Gordon applies for reinstatment

But why would the Browns want to let him go now? If they were going to do that, wouldn't they have done it when he got suspended?

Why wait all the way through the suspension until reinstatement? There's a new GM and coach in town there, you have to figure they'll look at it as a blank slate for him.

I doubt he's even on the market, not much point discussing.

He wasn't suspended for weed. It was booze.

Even if he was, based on the CBA, failing a drug test for pot is really failing an IQ test in the NFL. They are only testing during certain times of the year.

Failing a pot test means he is an idiot.

Agree with the other posters. Keep our picks and pass.

Gordon and Dez could be great leaders in Dallas.
