Worth It?

There are a few receivers out there who are either without a team or disgruntled with their current team.

Pick one, if you think there is one, that is most worth going after...and discuss

Re: Worth It?

J. Walker is the only one I'd go after. He has proven himself and to be honest he is getting underpaid. TO is a head case, Boston's career is pretty much done, Mitchell should become a comedian, Boldin was hurt last year.

Re: Worth It?

I'd want either a healthy and motivated A. Boldin or D. Boston cuz both r absolute beasts when 100% on their game.

Re: Worth It?

I'm with skinsfan - if you can get Boston off the juice and on his game he could be an elite receiver in this league. I voted Boldin, young and smart. Although he said he's going to be a Cardinal, so we'll see.

Re: Worth It?

Boston could be the best; but I just have a feeling he is going to have health/injury problems and will proaboly never be a top dawg again. I would go with Boldin, he is the youngest out of any of them; and I think has the most upside. The rest are either headcases, or head cases and not very good (Mitchell). Walker would be worth a look too; but I would go with Boldin if given the choice.

Boston is old news and is a bigger waste than Gardner at this point

Re: Worth It?

What on earth do you like about Boston his busted knee or the fact he is/has been on the juice? The risk is too high for the reward.

Re: Worth It?

why would we vote on these idiots? boldin/walker holding out, mitchell is a moron, boston is a shitbag, and last but not anywhere near least, TO should never be mentioned on a skins thread again...waste of human life

the real poll should be who is gonna lead our team in receptions? and why?

Re: Worth It?

Boldin has far exceeded his rookie contract and I can understand his point at wanting a new deal. He has also now reported to work outs which in my mind shows that he does not want to hurt his career too badly. Boldin is young, talented and has a legitimate gripe. Has to be him.

He couldn't wear 81 here though!

Re: Worth It?

David Boston is the worst idea I've EVER heard. Daseal, did you stop to think that Boston may have had his beastly season with the Cardinals BECAUSE he was on the juice? What makes you think that if he got off the juice, he'd be able to repeat that year's performance?

I'd go for Javon Walker. He'd fit our scheme, a serious deep threat because of pure speed. The Pack would never give him up though.

I like Boston for a reason that nobody would ever think of. His dad is a NFL ref. Maybe would could get a call or two to go our way.:headbange

Re: Worth It?

Walker is the only one I don't have a serious problem with on that list. Boldin would be ok if he wasn't injured. Mitchell is a fraud. TO is a punk and a cancer and numerous other things I shouldn't say on this site. And Boston is a total joke.

Re: Worth It?

Boston, when he had his breakout season, wasn't near the size he is now. My guess is he wasn't on the juice. Honestly, I don't care what he does as long as it doesn't get him suspended and he plays football. Let's also remember how much money we may be able to get David Boston for. Can anyone say league min? I voted for Boldin even though I think his rookie season may be a bit misleading, he's still a quality receiver.

Walker would be a good choice too!

Re: Worth It?

i like david boston, and i think he still has a couple of years left in the tank, but im going to take none of the above. boston is the only one on there who doesn't have problems with his team (except f. mitchell, he just flat out sucks), and none of them are worth taking risks on.

Re: Worth It?

It should send a message to TO, he is by far the best player there yet no one is willing to deal with his antics. If he was from a non-NFC east team do you think he'd have some votes?
