This weekend rookie camp...

I have a question if anyone can help. This weekend is the rookie minicamp, will Rogers and Campbell be there? The way the washington post has it in there article only rookies who already signed will be there, so then one would assume that Rogers and Campbell and who ever else we drafted that did not sign with us yet will not be there, is this a correct assumuption?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...042701939.html

"The additions gave the Redskins an NFL-maximum of 80 players on the roster. (Exempt from that figure are draft picks, who haven't yet signed, plus NFL Europe players.)"

You'll find your answer later in the same article:

Wow. Indoctrination? Gibbs makes it sound like some kind of brainwashing session. Try "orientation", Coach, it's a little more innocuous and corporate-sounding.

Indoctrination. Wow, that's awesome. Very Orwellian...

Yeah, I'm all for the simple hats. I'm not down with like 25 colors and HUGE logos.

Nice and simple. That's why I have the Gibbs hat.

I expect the press will be all over the scene when Ramsey ties Campbell to the goal posts during training camp. No shaving cream this year please!!!

Re: This weekend rookie camp...

it depends. right now it's about 3:00, and vinny cerrato just was talking to some guy on the hot list, on espn news. they talked about this guy coming to camp, chevon troutman, who is a college basketball player at pittsburgh. apparantly troutman will be appearing at the redskins minicamp this weekend, he is gonna be trying the tight end position. i heard about him, but i didn't know the skins were interested in him. they also talked about how carlos rogers and mike williams were both available at #9, and the guy asked vinny if they were interested at all in mike williams, and vinny said that they felt they need c.r. more than mike williams. they hope this troutman guy is the next antonio gates, because a.g. played college basketball and never played football in college.
