Re: Today's press conference

Who cares. Our front office is a looney bin with absolutely no authority. If Lavar "the mouth" wants to talk his stupid hyperbole then just cut him outright. He is no better than anyone else and he didn't do jack shit last year except run his mouth and conveniently cry like he gave a shit. F him. We don't need you Lavar we have a decent defense without your constant over-rated self.

That's funny!

I am going to consult with Daseal on this matter, but I am thinking of starting a club, but it is by invitation only and Daseal and myself have final say, we are going to need a name for it I am thinking of going with THE ANTI ARRINGTON DEFAMATION LEAGUE! So far it look's like Irish will get an invite, and Skinz Domin will be the first official members.

And for all those apposed, it's only a matter of time before you join us, so don't fight it, the wall's are crumbling as we speak.

Those who would like a membership will have to prove their worthiness! :headbange

Re: Today's press conference

Basically Matty, coach said that he believes we have the best medical staff in the league. He also talked about how Lavar was mad at him for NOT letting him play earlier on last season. He was asked about Moss and Taylor not attending the workouts and he mentioned something about even though it was voluntary that it is expected of professional football players to basically be there and that there is little time before camp and preseason and how much being there could really help. He mentioned that he heard Santana was a hard worker and he didnt think he missed anything with the Jets. He was also asked if he thought that it had to do with their (Moss and Taylor's) contract negotiations and he said "yes". Thats pretty much the sum of it...I didnt listen to the last 5 minutes or so.

Re: Today's press conference

I'm listening to it right now. At the present moment he's talking about cell phones...LOL!!!

The basic point is that Gibbs basically stressed that neither he nor the trainers forced Arrington to come back before he was ready. Gibbs mentioned that Lavar was the one this past year who was eager to get back onto the field and Gibbs and staff wanted to take a conservative approach to getting him back.

Joe stressed that neither he nor the trainers want players to play hurt. He said in todays game, that is not a very smart thing to do. He also stated that Arrington's comments really surprised him and that they were going to sit down with the surgeon and discuss things. He also talked about how the workouts were not mandatory but that this is a critical time for the Redskins and the players need to be here.

He feels that Moss wants to be here but stresses that it was important for ALL the players to be at the volunteer workouts. He joked and said that players can make babies on their off week - LOL!

Said that Mike Barrow is making progress in his rehab. Continued to stress that Lavar is important to the team's success and the team's future. He also talked about drafting players and stressed character.

Overall...he said that this team doesn't appear to have as many problems as what other teams around the league might be experiencing. He feels losing two players is a far cry from the amount of players other teams have lost.

Re: Today's press conference

I think Lavar has a problem with reality, he see's thing's that aren't there, everything Gibbs is saying is what I remembered hearing last year, I can only imagine what Lavar thought he heard when he was negotiating his contract.

Oooo, can I join?! I just love blaming the ONE redskins player who has been to the pro bowl 3 times in the last 5 years for all of the skins' problems and having one losing season after another!

Can we worship Steve Spurrier too? If so, I just have to be allowed in.

Re: Today's press conference

So who is the next redskin for everyone to turn there back on ? It seems like there is more hate for our players then there is love for our team on this website right now.

I would think it's the anti Brunell club, but I will leave that to someone else running one club is enough for me, but I will join that's for sure.
