Jansen because the D was good without Arrington.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

as much as i love arrington and think his return will help the skins, i had to vote for jansen, his return is vital.with the addition of our new center and the return of jansen , i feel, the offensive line should show the most improvement of all facets of the team. those improvements should help the running and passing games as well.

but it's still nice to get lavar back, especially considering we lost pierce and smoot.

My thoughts as well.

But hay you never know. Maybe Arrington has something to prove.

Janson just because we are already to the max on Defense but Arrington will be a huge comeback along with bowen which will lead to more sacks

toss up between Jansen and Arrington, but I voted for Lavar mainly because of the changes on D.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

I think that adding Bowen (and Arrington) puts our D over the top, certain #1 for next year. I'd love to see the O line dominate but feel it may take them half a season to get with it. Last season we had Jansen go out and the switch from leftie to rightie. None of that helped.

I feel our D will slouch without Smoot and Pierce myself, Rat. lets not forget, Bowen is a good blitzer but a huge liability in pass defense. I feel Ryan Clark/Andre Lott play that role much better than he.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

I put Matt Bowen, not becuase I think hes some amazing player, but his return changes how we are going to do things. When Bowen was in we would blitz him, and he was acutally really good at getting to teh qb and applying pressure. When he went down he started blitzing Taylor instead. WIth bowen in there it gives taylor more freedom and hes going to make a lot of big plays next year, I promise this. Taylor is going to be flat out amazing next year and having Bowen back will make him better.

Jansen is definitly a huge return as well. And if Gibbs stays conservative this will be huge in terms of getting our running game going.

I disagree, Skins. He didn't blitz Taylor enough. Don't expect to see him back a lot. Greg Williams likes him as a blitzer.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

its going to be Rasmey, He will not have to worry about any other QB, and he will be able to throw to proven, WR, have maybe 1 of the top 10 offensive line in the league, I said this earlier a post, that I think that he will have a season of... 2280yrds, 23td's, 11int's, and a QB rating of 83%, with those kind of number that means CP is on pace to a 16-17 hundred yrd season, with a Defense in the Top 8, with all of this being said the Skins should finish 10-6 or 11-5, still second best in the division behind the Eagles (as I throw up)....and we should take care the games we should win and have to 2-3 big upsets........

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

Ramsey without a doubt. Aside from him, I have to look at Walt Harris. If we draft a CB, then Harris is unlikely to start, but if we don't, then his play will definitely have a huge impact on the performance of the defense. I know it seems like a cliche at this point, but we've said it a thousand times, GW's system often leaves the corners out in one-on-one coverage, and if they don't play well, we might be in some trouble.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

I gotta go Lavar.

I know lavar got hurt and everything and we did great without him, but the man is one of the best atheletes the league has ever seen. He will have a huge impact on the defense and games in general. Thats just one more huge playmaker to add to the roster and the captain of our defense. There are alot of people who are down on lavar for some reason lately and i just cant understand it.

Oh and I think they were talking abouit someone returning from an injury last year guys... Ramsey finished the season.
