Re: Redskins Tenderoffers to RFA's
To me, some of these guys coming back is just as big as resigning some guys like Perice and Smoot. Clemons, Warner, Evans, and Lott were great role players last year, and I wouldnt be shocked at all if Lott is our #2 saftey next year. I honestly belive Chandler has a shot to be our kicker next year, considering the way he closed out the year. Good news right there.

Re: Redskins Tenderoffers to RFA's
the jets sure would have liked to have him last year... its insane that there's only 32 jobs for kickers and with the hundreds and hundreds of colleges they can't seem to produce 2-3 good kickers each year... (only 2-3 because the NFL lifespan of a good kicker can easily surpass 12 years...)
I mean, the skins were in kicker hell for years before we finally got one that could make the easy kicks, wasted time with a swede and now it looks like we might have two... (swede did well in preseason, but couldn't be trusted afterwards with anything over 20 yards) |

Evans and Lott would be important folks to bring back. The others are not bad players but they are not important cogs in the machinery.

Re: Redskins Tenderoffers to RFA's
I'm in favor of bringing back as many guys as possible.
It's just as important to have continuity on your bench as it is in your starting lineup. Plus I'm really excited at seeing Clemons in an expanded role. |

Re: Redskins Tenderoffers to RFA's
These guys are key guys for depth and special teams, and to push other players in camp (i.e. Chandler to compete with Hall). Nice to see them planning to bring everybody they can back...at least for training camp/preseason.
