Re: Around the NFL week 6 style
I heard they're interested in Tim Hightower...but that knee is holding him back from landing that job too.

Re: Around the NFL week 6 style
I doubt that. First, his contract vs. production. He appears to be done, or just doesn't care after getting paid. Secondly, the Titans just lost their backup to CJ, Javon Ringer. They need someone to run the ball.
The Cards like that Powell kid. He led the NFL in rushing this preseason for whatever that's worth. They have Stephens-Howling too. Even Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams were mediocre...they need to concentrate on the passing game if they want to have any chance and with Larry Fitzgerald...yeah, they need to throw more.

Re: Around the NFL week 6 style
No. All I know is that PFT suggested they should make such a trade, both online and on their daily show (which technically is also online I suppose)
And since you had a link to PFT I thought maybe you had gotten it from there and misread a suggestion as a rumor

Oh no I see it there now, I heard it during local NFL talk. I doubt anything like that happens because isn't CJ making like 9M ?

Re: Around the NFL week 6 style
Robert Griffin III, Mike Shanahan cook up ever-evolving offense - NFL.com
"You gotta go through generations," the Redskins coach said from his office on Monday. "Look at what we did with Steve Young, what he did, (John) Elway or (Joe) Montana, Brian Griese or Jake Plummer -- every offense should cater to the strengths of the quarterback. If you don't do that, you can't win. A quarterback like Elway was different than Young. Steve loved three- and five-step drops, Elway didn't. Elway loved the (shotgun), Montana would drop the snap intentionally in practice so they wouldn't run it. "Get a guy like Robert or Cam, and people see a different type of quarterback, and scheme, they say, 'Oh my God.' "

Re: Around the NFL week 6 style
I think we should keep our current "little guy" seeing as though he has actually become part of the offense.
