Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
Redskins rookie 7th round pick Jordan Bernstein is done for the year according to Comcast Sportsnet. Better luck next year and get well Jordan!
So since Jordans done for the year do we bring in a Free Agent SS? Or resign a guy like David Jones?

re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
I went looking for a list of safeties that can provide some depth on the market and found:
- OJ Atogwe (don't think we're interested, nor do I think he would be) - Melvin Bullit - Deon Grant - Chris Crocker - Nick Collins (not sure about his neck) - Charlie Peprah (filled in at FS and SS for the packers the past 2 years) - Brodney Pool - Jon McGraw (another Reed though) - Gibril Wilson

re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
Brandyn Thompson, Kareem Moore, Larry Asante, Aaron Berry have all been rumored. Though it could just be people throwing out some names.
If it's Thompson or Berry (who wants to come here when his suspension is over though I don't believe we want him) then you'll likely see Hall playing FS in more spots. I have a sneaking suspicion though we may see Kareem Moore back in the B & G

re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
This is somewhat tragic in terms of impairing Bernstein Bear's development.

Bad break for JB and our secondary. Just hope he comes back next year like Jenkins has.

re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
Really sorry to hear this. From his play and what I was reading about him, I had hopes he would be a solid "Ryan Clark'ish" type player for us. Hopefully, he can come back next year. God knows the secondary needs all the help it can get both now and in the long term.
As for a replacement, would be surprised if practice squads are being scanned as we speak for a developmental/inactive type.

re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
Torn ACL...shame. He looked like he had a ton of potential.
I'd like Brandyn Thompson back on the active roster from the list Smoot posted. Kareem Moore had a few good moments for us....as long as he's end-of-the-bench depth, he's be suitable. If he's forced to start like before, that's not good. He has hurt both knees too. Aaron Berry is suspended for DUI until Week 4, he's useless right now. Asante has played for R. Moore, so that could work. He was JUST cut from the Bucs, so he won't be as rusty as Moore or Berry.

Re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
Well that sucks. Hopefully his recovery goes well and he can get back on the field next year. And hopefully whomever steps up to fill his spot can do an adequate job.

Re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
Don't want to highjack this thread by any means, but any more word on Nick Sundberg? Can he keep snapping with a broken arm! I am assuming he is right handed and broke his left arm?

Re: Jordan Bernstine Out for the Year
His arm will be in a cast for another couple of weeks but he hopes to play after it's removed. He says it's up to the coaches.
