Trevor Pryce on the Trading Block

http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,...710298,00.html

Quote:
In a somewhat surprising development, the Broncos have decided to shop four-time Pro Bowl defensive end Trevor Pryce.

According to three teams that have talked to Pryce's agent, Peter Schaffer, Pryce would be offered for draft picks.
Should we go after him?

Re: Trevor Pryce on the Trading Block

He'd take our first I think but I certainly wouldn't be against it. Pryce is good, but I believe he's getting older. Send them Gardner and some picks maybe. Keep our first this year, maybe give them next years first and this years 2nd. Something of that sort.

i'd give them gardner and smoot, if the guy is not older than 27 and 17 days.

Re: Trevor Pryce on the Trading Block

What do you give him if he's 27 and 18 days?!

I'm not so sure the Broncos want another CB. The guy playing opposite of Bailey did probably better than Bailey this year. They have other needs to address. I think they want picks for a reason.

He turns 30 in August and has had back surgery in the past year and has no playing time after the surgery. That should be enough said. I vote no.

Re: Trevor Pryce on the Trading Block

he used to be good, but we dont need to give up our future on a 30 year old with back surgury. Theres a reason they want to shop him, teams dont get rid of stud ends for no reason

since he is older than 27 and 17 days he is not worth gardner and smoot but i would give 12 m&ms, a pair of new socks and a AAA battery for him.

Re: Trevor Pryce on the Trading Block

For what it would cost to get him; i'd take a pass. Thats not to say he's not a very very good player. Maybe if we can get him without having to give up a whole ton. We should keep our eyes on the situation, maybe their asking price will go down.

no, spears is more of a run stopper, we have that in wynn and daniels, we need the speed off the end. i really want pollack, i think he will be much better than what people think, he has a constant motor. roth from iowa or justin tuck from notre dame would also be great off the end. i think with a speed rusher last season off the line would have made us #1 D in the league. we had to go with our blitz more than we wanted to alot of times, or we would send one to many. and with good pressure from your front four, makes games alot easier. just ask the 03 bucs or 00 ravens or 85 bears
