havent heard the price, but im assuming based on the things the eagles usually get, the titans are giving them 4 1st rounders?

Asante Samuel 1) probably top 5 currently bad locker room guys 2) skills have fallen off since going to the Eagles, sharply last season 3) Eagles FO probably top 3 in the league

Eagles probably make up quite well with the deal which is bad news for us. Wouldnt want him here, but if they are moving Rogers-Cromartie to the full time starter...thats a huge win for anybody playing them. Rogers-Cromartie is piss poor

I don't know how they do it but the Eagles make out like bandits with every trade they pull, so Tennessee will probably give them a high pick for Samuel. As far as what I think of it, either way the Eagles win imo.

3rd round pick will likely be a starter in 2-3 years. Immediately it makes them younger, and slightly weaker on defense. It's good for them long term. If our wideout situation is noticably deeper this year, than it could be good for us. The Redskins of the last 20 years, it wouldnt matter that much because you dont need a deep secondary to cover our 1-2 threats.

i hope his replacement can tackle. i have a feeling our quarterback will spend a significant amount of time in our opponents secondary dodging tackles.

Eagles want at least a 3rd. Titans not willing, at this time, to go that high. Lions might be though

IMIO(in my ignorant opinion) - he's a value at a 4th round pick. not worth a 3rd.

It would be a good move for the Lions.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency (and Trades) Tracker (Volume 2)

It would be a good move for the lions if they are finally willing to admit they dont have the scouting ability to identify a starter long term in the 3rd round. That's a sad fact.
