Snow? 2012
You know that white powder stuff that comes down when it gets cold.
Are we getting any this year? Personally I be happy with none becasue it is just more chores for me but some folks love it.

Re: Snow? 2012
Just got our first taste today since a freak storm on Halloween, about 2-4 inches but nothing major.
I was looking at some pics the other day from last year around this time and we had snowbanks in my development that looked like mini mountains. |

Re: Snow? 2012
I definitely haven't missed the snow. It hasn't even been that cold so far either. I hope we can get through the rest of this month and February like this but that's probably asking for too much.

Re: Snow? 2012
Although we're supposed to get 5 inches tonight we are having a freakishly dry winter here in west Michigan like the rest of the country. Its only snowed once and that melted long ago.
I'm not complaining, I have no use for it.

Re: Snow? 2012
Snow is one of life's biggest inconveniences. Hate it with a huge passion. Very glad Philly hasn't had any so far, and knocking on wood so that we don't start soon.

Snow is great if you are one of the lucky few that doesn't have to deal with it.

Re: Snow? 2012
I love the snow and am extremely disappointed we haven't had any snow. I mean hell, no work, no school. Other than the shoveling and not being able to get out of your house for a couple of days, I find it pretty enjoyable.

Re: Snow? 2012
I like to get 1-2 big snows a season. I like the snow, if there's enough I get off work and can enjoy it. My main concern is with the way the winter has been going it'll be cold and snowy in June this year.

Re: Snow? 2012
For Virginia, this winter season is supposed to be above average temps with below average precipitation. So, I doubt we get much of anything this year. Although last week, we had one day where it didn't get out of the 20's all day, and by the end of the week, the highs were in the 70's. I don't mind a warm winter, although part of the reason for getting rid of my Mustang last year was so I could have a vehicle that I could get through the snow on and of course it's like spring time all winter so far.
