I remember in highschool we had a competition between all the defensive player over who got to wear 00. But you never see it in the NFL is it not a valid number.

I found this about jersey numbers and it appears that the #00 is not reconized by the leauge.

Bugsy Bagaris was the Redskin who wore this number. Hopefully I did spell his name correctly. Did not even look it up I just know Redskin Trivia
