Re: What to do in Vegas?

if you have never been there in person you have to check out the bellagio's fountains, they are pretty f-ing cool. while your there check out their indoor garden, it's also pretty cool. btw both are free which is always a plus in vegas

Bellagio Fountains - Las Vegas

Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens - Las Vegas

edit: gotta see the fountains at night

Re: What to do in Vegas?

Go to the Red Square bar/restaurant at the Mandalay Bay hotel.
Russian themed bar, the bar is made out of ice. Amazing selection of vodka and martinis.
Go see "Mystere" at Treasure island (Cirque Du Soliel show).

Go to the Venetian hotel and just walk around and see all the indoor gondola canals and architecture and stuff stuff stuff.

Eat at the Bellagio buffet...a-frickin-mazing.
Walk thru the Bellagio and see all the stuff stuff stuff plus the fountains that were mentioned above.

Go to the Stratosphere hotel and take the elevator to the top and take pictures.

Go to the Wynn hotel and see all the stuff stuff stuff.

Ride the roller coaster at the NY NY hotel.

See the free outdoor hot chick pirate show at treasure Island (TI)

Rent a car and go for a half hour drive to Red Rock Canyon...amazing natural beauty. Or take the hour drive to Hoover Dam or go to Valley of Fire State park.

Checking out the major casinos will keep you pretty busy. Hard to get bored in Vegas.

Quake if you need a roadmap, rent the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for helpful pointers. "As your attorney I advise it"...

Re: What to do in Vegas?

Spearmint Rhino is the only Gentleman's Club worth going to nowadays (Vegas economy's hurting right now). Don't ever pay for a cover- call the club and get one of their limos to pick you and your group up... tip the driver and you guys will all get in free.

Hit up Drais afterhours at Bill's Saloon Casino (yeah, it's kind of b-side... but the club is banging after hours). If you're looking for the posh club environment, either Aria (at the new CityCenter) or Marquee (good luck without a bunch of females, though).

If you've got transportation, head outside the strip to a breakfast joint called "Egg and I" - trust me, you won't be disappointed. If you're really hungry, check out "Hash House A Go-Go"... they've got a fried chicken eggs benny!

If you want to catch a nice sports book, go to the Palazzo and catch a table (and food) at Emeril's Stadium.
