Google+
Anyone on it yet? I'm actually liking the circles feature... more control over the news feed and easier privacy settings.

Re: Google+
I think your critique is more towards social networking than Google+. It's actually a pretty cool service. It has better security features than Facebook, as noted. I think that's a huge plus.
Depends how big social networking is during your college years. For me, when I started undergrad, Facebook was TheFacebook and it was only for college students. It was cool in that way and everyone was on it. From that point it is almost engrained in every student's life. Now, post-college, I don't use it the same exact way but it is very helpful.

Re: Google+
Google Wave re-branded along with Picasa, etc. it looks good but will it stick? No one really likes Facebook but all their friends are on there so everyone is on there.

Re: Google+
I know my group of friends has basically left facebook for this. It's easy to use, you can put people into groups so it's easy to manage. I'm not a big social networking guy, but like google+ a lot.

Re: Google+
I signed up for it, but I don't know if I'm gonna use it. I deactivated my FB about a month ago, I just got tired of it, and all my friends that I actually talk to and hang with have my phone number anyways. I'm not gonna see the point in using Google+ unless all my friends are, so if none of my friends switch I probably won't use it much. And even if they do switch, I still might not use it, I actually feel better now that I'm not on FB everyday anymore.

Re: Google+
I support anything that will replace Facebook. I'm sick of hearing about it.

Re: Google+
Sounds less-annoying in it's name alone.
I do not really trust Google though...they follow us with cameras.
