Re: Ohio Anyone?

my office has been emailing the guy to get some numbers from him. The house appraised for $208 a few years back and his reserve is $275k. Good luck getting a loan for that. Even if he makes the $275k reserve he is going to be taking a huge bath.

Ditto.

Could be a good deal, even if you take the house and sell all of their crap on eBay separately.

First task, rip out the pink carpet.

I'd beg them to take that rice-mobile though, I wouldn't want that farting POS on my property for a second.

So, the kids come with the deal too? There IS a picture of them.

What's wrong with Ohio? Why so much animosity toward it?

I have never been but hear that Cleveland is really bad. OH looks like the rest of the mid-west to me.

Re: Ohio Anyone?

I went to Cleveland a few years ago and I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe because my expectations were so low going in, but I've seen a lot worse places than Cleveland.

Re: Ohio Anyone?

We stayed in downtown Cleveland two years ago.
Right near the stadium and R&R HOF.
Its decent in that general area but we didnt venture out from there.
Odd sculptures there.

Re: Ohio Anyone?

I was following Phish in 98 or 99 and the tour stop was in Columbus Ohio. Upon leaving the second night coming out the venue, a skinny beard man was dressed up like jesus in a white robe, holding a oversized Bible and wearing a crown of thorns covered in blood. He was holding a sign that said repent now and people behind him holding up a 12 foot crucifix. It was pitch dark and at first i thought the mushrooms must still be kicking hardcore and I had found jesus at a Phish show. But soon i realized due to everyones laughter, that them Ohioian christian just roll like that. That kinda stuff just rubs me the wrong way...but what ive seen of Ohio, kinda bland.

Re: Ohio Anyone?

I grew up in Ohio, and I've never seen any doomsayers. You can find those "special" people just about anywhere. Cleveland has gone through a revitalization project over the past 15 years and is.......better. It's still a rust belt city. I would agree we are a typical mid-west state. "And we like it that way, we like it just fine!"

When I was there they seemed to be doing work everywhere, so that was good to see.
