Re: End of the World.....
Moving this to the parking lot since it's not political/football related.

Re: End of the World.....
As I read it earlier this week, they're just saying the world is supposed to start ending tomorrow, but it's supposed to take like 5 months to actually end. Apparently the world is going out like the last Lord Of The Rings movie.
Anyway, I started an End Of The World Mix Tape Tour 2011 on facebook. Here's what I have so far:

Re: End of the World.....
You need the clip from Terminator 2 where Sarah Connor sees the world ending (the creepy playground scene: YouTube - ‪Nuclear Nightmare (Terminator 2)‬‏)

Re: End of the World.....
Judging by the thread title, I naturally surmised we traded for Vince Young........

Re: End of the World.....
How was this May 21st date determined? Was it just one crazy pastor or did academic scholars calculate it?
Funny comments on Harold Camping and the rapture. When you're 89 years old, everyday is the end of the world. Jellegeed 7 minutes ago 12 the rapture is currently undergoing maintenance xmonke55 2 minutes ago 2

One crazy guy. He has predicted it before so not sure why it got so much belief except that he spent a lot of money hyping it.
He predicated it on saying that the flood happened on such and such date which is exactly 7000 years ago. |

Why 6PM though? That's the part that made me laugh the most.

Re: End of the World.....
The sad thing is there are people out there making $$ off the gullible dumb-asses out there that fall for this crap. I read an article that said some people quit their jobs or emptied their life savings. Believe me I don't feel bad for those knuckleheads but it's obvious these so called prophets are nothing more than modern day snake oil peddlers.

Re: End of the World.....
The sad thing is i bet this guy has threats on his life now by the same so called "church people" who beleived him in the first place.
This is where my wife and I disagree on Religion. We both believe in God, trust in Jesus, etc...but she came from a really strict religious family who think church is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Me on the other hand, I have yet to have a good experience in a "church". Every church i've visited around here, has either had a wackjob for a preacher, very blatantly demand your money, or just preach crazy bullshit. I had one church tell me straight up in the sermon that the people who didnt give anything for the offering that day, that your father in heaven would remember that when you met him at the end of your life. I'm not gonna name names of the worst church i've been too, incase anybody on the forum here goes there, or knows somebody who does, etc...but PM me and i'll tell you discreetly. But, I'm glad to be alive still! Looking foreward to (hopefully) another season of football.

Re: End of the World.....
I genuinely feel sorry for these people who were expecting the world to end. They have invest so much money/emotions only to be let down. They must be very devastated. Hopefully they will be able to recover.
