Watched eSpN hoping I could see some highlights from the game, but got nothing. If we win out and others lose, we'll sneak in the playoffs. Then what? ESPN will be sucking the D.

On the FOX telecast:
I got fed up within mins of the telecast and turned on the radio to hear Sonny, Sam and Larry. Radio was much better except for Larry Michaels. Gimme Frank Herzog. Larry shoulda stayed with the post game show. He made many mistakes today. Granted I'm watching the tv, but I assume he's got a tv/computer and live action. I WANT FRANK BACK!
Still think it'd be funny if we win out and sneak in. Quite possible still w/ the parity in the NFC.

Redskins get no respect and that's when we shine most!

You've had one too many drinks my friend. Playoffs? PLAYOFFS? The Skins defense gets respect but this is a team sport. With the way our offense has been playing we have neither earned nor deserve respect. We are bottom feeders albeit a notch above the 49'ers.

well to be fair, no one really hasn't had a whole lot of luck running against the 49ers this year, but yeah the skins r a 5-9 team so we don't really deserve to much in the way of positive attention except the defense. I mean having one td for a return by the defense and nearly 2 others should have possibly talked about in the highlight or something. and while mathmaticaly alive, there isn't really that much of a shot for the skins to make the playoffs. If ramsey hadn't thrown that int last week and we'd pulled off a win against phili then it'd be a different scenario cuz the team would only be one win out of a wildcard spot I believe.

We are not good, actually we suck, but our record is a weak reflection of our team

I guess you forgot that offense is only half the game, and I guess you forgot that it is defense that other teams, in the end, really fear. Defense can keep you from scoring and defense can score and set up scores. WE GOT A GOOD D.

THe niners are in a tailspin. We are slowly climbing out of the cellar. We may only be a bit better right now (I actually think we're way better, but I don't want to incur the wrath of Curmudgeon! ), but the crucial thing is the DIRECTION the franchises are going. We're going up, they are going down. That's a huge difference.

PS If we could friggin score from the 5 yard line, we win 38-16. I know, I know, we didn't, but still....

We deserve respect because half of our team is incredible, and that half happens to be our defense. And our defense plays hard, smart, and tough, so thats why we deserve respect.

You can't dish out much on offense, but you can dish out alot on "D" and that garners respect. Maybe not from ESPN and people that don't see us play, but for sure from our opponents.
