Washington Redskins Season Tickets

Who got called being congratulated for being at the top of the list for 2011 season tickets? I got a call today and told him I'd have to think about it. I really don't have the money for it and the seats are Endzone seats.....NOT A FAN of end zone seats! Plus, it's not like I live in NoVA! He said he would call back tomorrow to double check!

Sounds desperate! LOL!!!

I wonder if these people work on commission or something like it. They are sales people though, I'm sure they will always do this no matter what.

How long did it take you to get this call? Just curious.

Well, apparently my name and email address must had been added to the list several years ago because he asked me if my email address was still (whatever my email address was) @adelphia.net and my email address has been switched to Comcast for at least four years now.

So, I'm just going to assume that it took at least four years for the Redskins to contact me.

He said he was even willing to set up a payment plan to stretch to four payments instead of three. Blah blah...

Re: Washington Redskins Season Tickets

I sat on the waiting list for 8 years and last April got my notification for season tix. Living 400 miles from DC I never intended to buy season tickets. It just turned into a curiosity for me, first by snail mail, then e-mail but never got a call. This has been going on longer than most of the fan base may realize.

About the same thing for me. I thought at some point I might would be moving about an hour or so up North which would have put me within decent driving distance to D.C., but I wasn't completely serious about getting tickets. Now, I will more than likely be moving further south when I get married, so that puts me at least six or seven hours away. Not very convenient for me. I'm just hoping I will still get to watch them on TV!

Re: Washington Redskins Season Tickets

I've been a loyal patron of the NFL Sunday Ticket for a decade now. It has saved me from watching endless Steelers and Browns games, only getting an occasional Skins game. We all know how those nationally televised games go.

Re: Washington Redskins Season Tickets

The few times I have been down to see my girlfriend in Carolina, the Redskins game has actually been on. I figure they play more Panther games than Redskins games, and if either are playing on FOX at the same time, they would show the Panther game instead of the Redskins game. I've been spoiled at being able to catch every Redskins game without having to shell out hundreds of $$ for NFL Sunday Ticket. Plus, I don't even know (or think) I'll have Directv when I move...whatever we could afford at the time.

I know some buy season tickets and might catch half of the games and sell their other tickets, but I'd rather just try to find tickets for a game or so that I could actually catch. That way I sort of have a choice as to where I want to sit and I'm not out of any money if I can't make it to a game that I have already purchased tickets for.

Our local Fox station has an unhealthy love affair with that team from Texas... No thanks, Aikman is an unapologetic homer, and I get physically ill when I see stars.
