Who will be our first round playoff opponent?
After we beat the Eagles and sweep the final three games to finish 8-8, who do we want to play in the first round? At this point, our season starts anew with Pat Ramsey settling into the Gibbs offense and finding himself and his confidence, with the offensive line coalescing, with the running game rocking, with the receivers stepping up, with the coaching staff doing whatever it takes to adapt to win. Forget the Eagles record - we can beat these guys, there is absolutely no doubt about it. You know it, the Redskins know it, and the Eagles may just be about to find out.
In 1981, we came back from 0-5 to 8-8 and we are doing the same kind of thing now. I would like to play Tampa. |

Doesn't matter NFC sux way to much to even think who is going to be in the playoffs except the eagles.

Hey the sun is shining through the clouds in Redskin land these days - just think of the fun of being in the playoff race after the struggle of this year.

LOL I love the optimism but I'm going to keep my playoff thoughts in check until it actually happens.

I'd like to see a team that has a big offense and bad defense. Maybe not the Colts offense, but maybe an MN. (Obviously we can't play the colts, but I assume most of you know what I mean.)
I think our defense can handle anyone in the league, but I don't think our offense can handle anyone in the league. I'm optimistic against the Eagles. Worried about conservative play-calling. Especially if we get a slight lead. |

I Guess I Missed Something Over The Past Couple Of Days. If We Get To 8 And 8 We Will Win A Wild Card Or We Could Win A Wild Card. I Have Not Looked Real Close At The Other Teams Records Because I Did Not Think It Mattered Anymore.

I love blind optimism!!! Let's just say for craps and giggles that we will play the Packers and get revenge for the refs stealing a win from us!

Okay - IF we get past Philly AND THEN run the table. We will play (and you can quote me on this) Green Bay in GB as the second rated WC playing the No. 3 Division winner.
After winning that, we upset Philly at the Linc (causing the entire city to implode in a karmatic fit of depression) then travel to and beat Atlanta in the NFC championship game. Finally, we revenge our loss to Pittsburg by beating them in the SB. Hey, it's a plan. Go Skins! P.S.- the only part you can quote me on later is the GB bit. |

we dont have all the tie breakers yet and we still need two of four teams the rams seahawks, vikings and packers to shit the bed not to mention all the teams at 5-7 still need to lose at least one more game couple that with the fact we need to run the table and its pretty bleak but i like dreaming too.

also remember that new york was a very very bad team. We did what we were supposed to do, but they didn't put up much of a fight.
That said, as long as our D doesn't lapse again, we can stay close and have a shot. |

If we beat Philli and win the 3 following we'll be golden. But lets just get past an 11-1 eagles team before how we'll roll the bears, bucs, seahawks, packers, etc. Damn if I don't have the eagles as much as anyone, but Sunday will be the ultimate test for this Redskins team. I'll be there Sunday night at Fed Ex and I'll do my part to make as much noise as possible. GL SKINS GO SKINS!!!
