Aw man. I was hoping he'd come and be our new punter.

Ramsey was the best QB in Redskins history from Tulane!

He never got a fair shot here. If he had just gotten a fair shot I think he would've been our Manning.

He got plenty of shots here.

Most of them came from the opposing defensive linemen and linebackers as he stood there and took a beating. :frusty:

Minnesota, the 10th stop on the Patrick Ramsey Hall of Fame Express!!!

Leading to the question: How could nine other teams be so blind to his abilities? Damn that Steve Spurrier!!

Did Richie Petibon ever take any snaps at QB?

Clearly his talent is as unassuming as Bill Gates computer knowledge in college, or Albert Einstein. In fact Pat Ramsey may just be the Einstein of the QB position.

Ramsey's Theory of special relativity (qb - system):
If a QB of offense K is chosen so that, in relation to it, physical laws hold good in their simplest form, the same laws hold good in relation to any other QB of offense K' moving in uniform translation relatively to K
(in english: Ramsey's qb play is the same everywhere in any offense)

Ramsey's theory of general realitivity: the speed at which a QB's body will be placed at rest is dependent on the curvature of the DL sacking him
(in english: big guys hurt)

brownian Sack Rate - Ramsey predicted that Brownian Sack Rate of a QB in a backfield with an OL deviation T is characterized by a sackrate coefficient

SR = k(rhs) T / b ,
where k(r) is the Running for his life constant, and b represents the drag coefficient of the qb's arm speed

(in english: a slow qb, with a slow release is going to have a high sackrate based on the strength of his OL)

He is an amazing genius.

Re: Vikings Sign Ramsey

We have to laugh about him because he's part of the dark era of the early 2000s & we once had such high hopes for him. Looking back, you have to give the guy credit for doing as much as he did here. He had some pretty good games.

He's capable of having a good game here or there as a backup, when he can come in & teams haven't game planned to blitz him to death.

Re: Vikings Sign Ramsey

Lets dont forget his pass to Santana Moss against the Giants, stepping in for an injured Brunnell. That was his finest hour.
