Around the NFL (Week 14)
So the Giants vs. Vikings game is moving to Monday night at 8pm because of heavy blizzards in Minnesota (too much snow on the Metrodome apparently)
Game between New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings is moved to Monday night - ESPN New York Pretty convenient that Favre gets an extra day to heal and continue his streak Meanwhile, Chiefs sign Jamaal Charles to a contract extension Kansas City Chiefs lock in Jamaal Charles with 5-year, $32.5 million deal - ESPN The same Charles Cerrato refused to trade a 5th round pick for. Perry Riley or Jamaal Charles? Sometimes trading a draft pick isn't such a bad idea

Re: Around the NFL (Week 14)
Is it convenient that Favre gets more time to heal or is it convenient that the Giants get the benefit of more time to get ready for the game because they had been "stranded" in KC?
Given that the Vikings are sucking wind at the moment, I really tend to lean toward the second possiblility here - - when I allow myself to get down into conspiracy theories.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 14)
I know! Lets play the game at Giants Stadium but still call it a Vikings home game! Brilliant!

Re: Around the NFL (Week 14)
Pretty sure I had mentioned it last fall when it was proposed, maybe just did to a few people. Believe it may have been conditional up to a. 4th so maybe then we can't trade for McNabb and/or Brown I guess

Re: Around the NFL (Week 14)
I hope people get to watch Bears vs. Pats, it's looking pretty good despite the sh*tty weather (although that will make it interesting).
