Rogers Frustrated By Some Redskins Fans

Quote:
Since 2000, the Redskins have had winning home marks just twice – 5-3 in the 2002 and 2007 seasons.

And cornerback Carlos Rogers expressed slight frustration Monday with certain fans who aren’t supporting the team.

Really can't stand Carlos anymore, he really pisses me off. I never boo the team or anything, but it's easy to see why the fans get pissed off, two winning seasons at home in 10 years, absolutely pathetic. If he could catch the ball we'd probably have one more win at home this season.

I'm not going to lie, I hate paying 4K seeing 4-12 performances.

Re: Rogers Frustrated By Some Redskins Fans

I think he understands, but it sucks to be booed. I mean I wouldn't be too happy about it either if I were a player, but it would still frustrate me.

Re: Rogers Frustrated By Some Redskins Fans

I don't see anything that inflammatory. Surely not enough to say that I "can't stand" him.

Quote:
"I love these fans. We've got good fans. Good, supportive fans," Rogers said. "Yes, they hard on us. And we do give 'em a reason to be hard on us, because we're not winning. But at the same time, you do want that support and encouragement that, 'Y'all can pull this out.' Or, 'Y'all can turn around.'..."

He makes good sense of you ask me. Nothing like having people pile on you when your down and they are suppose to be on your side. If you don't like waht he said then you don't like the truth.

I'm sure players don't like to get booed, but they have not been a very good team over the past couple of years.

I can't stand him because of his terrible play, his dropped interceptions, might I add this is his second time talking about this. You would think he would say hey, maybe we should play better, rather than complain about the reactions they are getting from playing bad.

I still heart you Carlos Rogers.

Not in a gay kind of way but in the "I would have a bigger man crush on you if you would pick the ball off more often" kind of way.

Rogers' hands are so bad he can't even handle catching shit from the fans.

Seems like he is saying they should play better

"I love these fans. We've got good fans. Good, supportive fans," Rogers said. "Yes, they hard on us. And we do give 'em a reason to be hard on us, because we're not winning. I've got no problem with what he's saying

Re: Rogers Frustrated By Some Redskins Fans

From the article:
“Me and some of the guys were talking about that earlier,” he said. “Sometimes you feel when you’re at home that you’re away because you get so bashed at home for any little mistake. “We come to the sideline or the bench and it’s cussing, it’s this, it’s that and we’re just in the first quarter. We’re like, ‘Are we at home or are we away?’ I think we play better away because the fans are quieter.”

Rogers added: “We still want the support from the fans. If you don’t like the team or don’t want to support us through the good or the bad, why come out to the games? We’re already losing and then to hear it from our fans, it’s not helpful. We try to block it out.”

I think Rogers and "some of the guys" need to get rid of their vaginitis, toughen the F up, and protect home field. If they start winning at home on a consistent basis, then they won't catch so much crap from the fans. When you're paying a significant amount to go to the games you expect a good product and we haven't had a good product at home for quite some time. Over the last two years the product has been particularly bad. Then to have a millionaire who has been part of the problem whine about getting booed or cursed at by some fans......C'MON MAN.

He can say all he wants, but guess what, we never see it. I will talk down on them till they give me a reason to talk good on them. There's a reason I go into games with the feeling we're going to lose. It's not because of me, it's because of them.
